I'm Lawton and I'm 20 years old. I live in Oakville at 1229 Marlborough Crt. on the main floor. I go school at Sheridan College during the school year and have decided to stay in Oakville over the summer. I will have my 3 bedroom apt. all to myself and as a result will have a lot of space. I have noticed many young children around the building and feel there may be a need for affordable childcare over the summer for younger children needing supervision.
I am CPR and First Aid trained. I have over 6 years of experience babysitting and one summer as a full time nanny (see seperate post about what that job entailed) I have experience with newborns up to older children (10 + yrs). Most of my babysitting experience seperate from the summer nanny position was with multiple children. Normally 3+ kids.
I am willing to take in 6 kids per day from the months of late April until late August from the ages of 0-5. I will accept children from 8am (if you require slightly earlier it can be accomodated for no extra cost) until 5:30pm. I will serve a healthy lunch, morning and afternoon snacks daily. I will charge 20 dollars a day. Children needing to stay longer (on a Friday night maybe?) will pay a flat rate of 5 dollars extra and the child will be fed dinner, bathed and changed in to pj's (and put to sleep temporarily, if need be depending on time). If only one child remains in my care I will do this in your apt. and stay there until you return.
There are no pets in the apartment.
References are available upon request.
If you have any questions leave a comment below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Also if you would like to set up a meeting and/or see the apartment that can happily be arranged.
Thanks,
Lawton W.

Summer Nanny Info
This past summer I was a summer nanny for a family in Muskoka Ontario. I took care of two young boys (4 and 2.5).
I was responsible for getting them ready, fed, and out the door most mornings. I watched and played with them while their parents were away, I took them to the dock, the beach, the general store, fishing, swimming, the play gym, and played with them around the cottage also, including arts and crafts, puzzles, games, and baking. I prepared and fed them lunch and dinner and was responsible for getting them ready for and put to bed many times.
This family is one of the references available.
Any questions? Leave them below!

I also plan to take full advantage of the summer weather by incorporating lots of fun activities outside (hats and sunscreen always on!!).
Children are encouraged to bring their own games, toys, and activities they would like to use during the day. I can label any toys brought in to eliminate any confusion.
